Kim Ondaatje
Historical Feature and R. Fraser Elliott Galleries

Exhibition Tour by Artist and Curator
Sunday, 30 November, 2–3 pm
Co-curator Cassandra Getty conducts a walking tour with artist Kim Ondaatje in the exhibition. A reception follows.

As an artist, filmmaker, and cultural and environmental advocate, Kim Ondaatje made an indelible mark on the Canadian art world. This retrospective offers a focused survey of her major work from the 1960s and 1970s, not only as unique experiments in media and technique, but also as powerful statements about domesticity, large-scale industry and the environment. Ondaatje honed her craft within the fertile movement of London Regionalism. Her career, however, has deep roots in Kingston and the surrounding region.

This exhibition is organized by Museum London, and curated by Melanie Townsend and Cassandra Getty.

This project is funded in part by the Government of Canada.  wordmark-bw
